Led by Pat Walsh, GDTP-Senior, MVS is a full provider of GD&T services including datum selection markups, datum coordination, detail drawings, check point selection and coordination, and tolerance simulation modeling and analysis.
MVS stresses the use of functional datums related to next process assemblies and the coordination of datums from components through assemblies.
MVS uses a proprietary database tool to help them manage datum and check point coordination. They also have created and managed Master Data Models (with XYZ points and attributes for datum locators, weld points, and check points).
